So Here I · Variation G

The darkest work in the series. Tall aubergine and near-black panels fan upward from a low vanishing point, separated by thin filaments of magenta and orange that behave like fibre-optic seams. Saturated red, yellow, green and cyan press in from the lower corners, so the light appears to be leaking in from outside the frame.

Behind the artwork

Variation G keeps the fan of the original but drains it of light, leaving the colour to survive only in the seams between panels.
