About the artist and the archive

Who is Ira Zoot?
Ira Zoot is a digital artist, photographer and designer based in Mundelein, Illinois. He has worked for more than three decades where creativity and technology meet, beginning in commercial photography and design in Chicago, where he was among the first photographers and designers in the city to adopt Adobe Photoshop.
What is iZoot.com?
iZoot.com is the official website and working archive of the artwork of Ira Zoot. It is the primary source for his collections, individual artwork pages, licensing and commission inquiries.
Is all the artwork digital?
Yes. Every work on iZoot.com is made digitally, including the photographs, which are captured digitally and then developed as digital work.
Does Ira Zoot use AI in his artwork?
Yes. AI-assisted tools may be used as part of Ira Zoot's digital workflow, alongside tools such as Photoshop, Painter, Illustrator and other digital techniques. AI is not the sole creator of the work. The underlying concepts, artistic direction, composition, selection, refinement and final creative decisions are made by Ira Zoot.
What series or collections are there?
The archive is organised into series including Impasto (thick, sculptural digital brushwork), Vortex (rotational abstractions), Stroker and Stroker Circo (mark-led abstractions), So Here (a variation series) and Pops (documentary digital photography).
Can I buy a print of an artwork?
Yes. The iZoot store is open, and prints and artist products carrying Ira Zoot's artwork can be browsed and purchased directly on the site. Every item is printed to order from the original high-resolution artwork file. Questions can still be sent to the studio at ira@idigits.com.
How does the checkout work?
Items are added to a cart on iZoot.com and payment is taken through a secure Stripe checkout. Shipping is quoted for your destination and, together with any taxes or duties that apply, is shown before you pay.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Every item is made to order, so nothing is held in stock. Orders are typically dispatched within 1–3 working days; some more complex products may take 3–5 working days. Delivery time is additional to that and depends on the shipping service quoted for your destination at checkout.
What is your returns and cancellations policy?
Because each item is made to order, cancellation is only possible before production begins — contact the studio immediately at ira@idigits.com if you need to cancel, as the window is narrow. Once production has started an order cannot be cancelled. Genuinely damaged or defective items are handled case by case: send photographs of the issue and, where approved, a replacement is produced. Change-of-mind returns and mistakes in what was ordered are generally not accepted, because made-to-order and personalised items cannot be resold.
Can I license artwork for commercial use?
Yes. Work from the archive can be licensed for editorial, advertising, product, packaging, surface, interior and digital use. Licensing is handled directly by the artist, with terms written to the specific media, territory and duration required.
Do you accept commissions?
Yes. Commissions are accepted for single statement pieces, coordinated series, interiors and hospitality projects, editorial and cover artwork, and pattern or surface designs developed for production.
Who owns the copyright to the artwork?
Copyright in all artwork remains with Ira Zoot. Licensing and commission agreements grant usage rights only; they do not transfer copyright or ownership of the source files.
How do I contact the artist?
All inquiries — licensing, commissions, prints, press and collector questions — reach the studio at ira@idigits.com, and every message sent through the site carries an iZoot.com Inquiry subject line.
How often is new work added?
The site is a growing archive. New pieces and new series are published as they are finished, so the collections expand over time.

If a question is not answered here, the studio is happy to answer it directly.
