Mosaic Heat

A diagonal band of near-black cuts from the upper left to the lower right, dividing a field of lemon yellow from one of scarlet and crimson. The whole surface is broken into small, hard-edged cells with dark outlines, so it reads like enamel or stained glass, and cool violet and pearl-white clusters flare where the temperature drops.
