Stroker Brusko V
The same gesture reduced to a scale where it becomes plumage. Hundreds of small dabs — turquoise, buttercup, rose, viridian and scarlet, each one struck once and left alone — tile the canvas edge to edge, and a rust-red woven ground glints through the narrow gaps between them. The eye is never given a single place to rest, so the whole surface shimmers.

Behind the artwork
Where Brusko IV holds four or five strokes, this one holds hundreds of the same mark, cut small until pattern takes over from gesture.
