eyeZoot Rangle

Angular bands of red, blue, yellow and green cut diagonally across a cat-eye frame front, carrying through the temples and casting coloured shadow onto the surface below. The stripes run against the curve of the frame rather than with it, which gives the whole piece a sense of motion.

Behind the artwork

One of the eyeZoot eyewear studies. Rangle is the study about direction: the bands are set deliberately off-axis to the frame's own geometry so the eye keeps travelling. Shown as a product design concept, not a finished retail item.
