A pair of espadrille-style slip-ons in near-monochrome: glossy black-on-black ridges flow around the toe and along the quarter like contour lines, set against a natural jute rope sole. The only colour in the piece is the rope; everything else is worked in light on black.

Behind the artwork

From the footwear studies. This one deliberately abandons colour to test whether an iZoot pattern still holds when reduced to highlight and shadow alone — the ridges follow the shoe's own curvature, so the artwork appears formed by the shoe rather than laid onto it. Shown as a product design concept, not a finished retail item.
