eyeZoot Slicer
A round frame built from narrow vertical slices of artwork laid side by side, rainbow-bright at the lens edges and dropping into deep violet at the temples. The slicing gives the acetate a grain, as though the colour were sawn from a solid block rather than printed on the surface.

Behind the artwork
One of the eyeZoot eyewear studies. Slicer works by repetition — a single passage of painting cut into strips and re-sequenced until it behaves like a manufactured material. Shown as a product design concept, not a finished retail item.
Process
Digitally created by Ira Zoot using a combination of digital-art techniques and, where appropriate, AI-assisted tools. The creative concept, composition, direction, refinement and final artwork remain artist-led. Learn about Ira Zoot's digital process
