Vortex IX, Variation GX

The same diagonal as Variation G, raised in contrast until the colour separates into distinct plates. Blacks bite harder into the ridges, the yellows push toward acid, and pale orchid and cyan open up along the upper right where the earlier version held deep blue. The result feels lit from behind rather than from above.
