Vortex VII, Variation G

The rotation is straightened into a curtain. Tall vertical columns of pigment hang side by side — fuchsia, scarlet, marigold, jade, viridian, orchid and grass green — separated by thin dark channels where the knife scraped down to the ground. Fine white speckle collects along the ridges, and the pigment appears to have dragged downward under its own weight.
